Age division eligibility
SoCal Cup follows the JVA age definitions for 2026–2027 (USA Volleyball’s, with a July 1 age date): 18U born on or after July 1, 2008; 17U, 2009; 16U, 2010; 15U, 2011; 14U, 2012; 13U, 2013; 12U, 2014. Athletes with a JVA age waiver may play at their grade level if they are no more than one year older than the division’s maximum age. See the JVA boys policies for the full rules.
